Fourth-Generation Oregonian and Community Connector
Justin grew up in Oregon, which means he understands that summer doesn't officially start until after July 5th and that proper layering is an art form. He's got Central Oregon in his DNA, and his wife, born and raised in Bend, has been here even longer
BACKGROUND
Most real estate agents talk about "adding value." Justin actually knows how to fix your roof, negotiate effectively, and navigate the nuanced challenges that arise when buying or selling a home.
During high school, he spent five summers roofing houses (in heat that made him question all his life choices), worked in his family's HVAC and plumbing business during college, studied accounting at Oregon State (Go Beavs!), and then spent 15+ years in senior leadership with Young Life, leading teams and building relationships across Central Oregon. Most recently, he and his wife restored a 100-year-old house on First and Portland, just north of downtown Bend. A project that taught him the phrase "what were they thinking?!" applies to about 60% of old home construction decisions.
Translation: If it's happening in your home or needs attention, Justin has probably seen it, fixed it, or at least sweated profusely while thinking about it. He's deeply connected with builders, licensed contractors, and professionals throughout the Central Oregon construction community, which means you get insights and connections most agents simply can't provide.
APPROACH
Justin is highly relational. He values people and the relationships he builds with them, not in a "let me add you to my email list" way, but in a "let's actually solve this problem together, and then go play a round of golf, or surf, or fish" way. He brings a heart-centered, people-first approach to real estate
Whether you're buying or selling, you're not just another transaction - you're someone with goals, dreams, and probably some questions about whether that "vintage charm" is code for "expensive problems." Justin is creative, curious, and strategic. These qualities fuel his goal-oriented approach, making him a standout, top-producing new agent who genuinely cares about achieving the right outcome for you.
Life Beyond Real Estate:
Justin and his wife are raising their two daughters in Bend, along with two dogs and a cat (Javier). His daughters speak Spanish and have participated in the dual immersion language program. When he's not helping clients navigate real estate, you'll find him:
Actively involved in the Central Oregon water polo community (Bend Waves Water Polo Club and high school teams)
Golfing at local courses, his favorite course is Tokatee on the McKenzie River
River surfing at the Bend Whitewater Park
Fly fishing the Deschutes or Metolius in Camp Sherman
Traveling with his family
Reading (he's a lifelong learner)
Connecting with people and building community
Justin is passionate about inclusivity and belonging, ensuring that everyone feels seen, valued, and welcomed. It's not just how he approaches community; it's how he approaches every client relationship.
The Bottom Line:
You're getting someone who knows construction, understands people, values relationships, and brings strategic thinking to every deal. Plus, he can probably tell you why your water heater is making that weird noise.
