Meet Maura
Transaction CoordinatorIn more ways than one, Maura is a rare find. Maura has spent the last 43 years of her life watching Bend evolve into the vibrant community it is today. She can go street by street, building by building, and tell you what used to be there. It is not usual to find someone that has lived here that long and it is absolutely fascinating to hear her tales.
During her time in Bend, Maura has spent the last 30 years in the home financing industry, so to say she knows her way around the lending aspect of our business is an understatement. In her role on DeLay and Billings Team Real Estate as the Transaction Coordinator, she is the mastermind of keeping all things spinning forward. Her years in lending perfectly prepared her to step into this position and there is not a day that goes by that we don’t tap into her vast knowledge base.
We knew Maura would be a natural at this when we saw her perk up when we mentioned 2 words: process and spreadsheets. Her desire for and knack at organization has already set our team off in more orderly fashion.
But Maura’s true passion is her family. She and her husband Jeff have raised 4 kids; Tanner, Seth, Greg and Samantha. With her extended family close, Maura has been known to host up to 37 family members for Thanksgiving and she loves every minute of it. If that doesn’t prove her gift of organization then we don’t know what else could.
When Maura isn’t assisting the sale or purchase of your home or planning Thanksgiving, you can find her with Jeff and their 3 pups, Jax, Gus and Charlie tucked away camping in the mountains-one of the things she most enjoys about living in Bend.
