After living a “big-city” life in the Midwest and on the East Coast for 36 years, Sharon found herself drawn to a simpler lifestyle. In 2004, following a 12-year career in the pharmaceutical advertising industry, Sharon packed up with her dog and moved from downtown Chicago to Bend, Oregon.
As the adage goes, you can take the girl out of the city, but you can’t take the city out of the girl. Relocating to Bend gave Sharon the space and laid-back lifestyle she was seeking, but she was still driven to apply her marketing and sales skills in an entrepreneurial way. Sharon owned and operated DogWatch Hidden Fence Systems in Bend for many years which provided her a valuable gateway to the Central Oregon community. Her diligence, professionalism and care for her clients ensured the leading success of her company.
Upon selling her company, Sharon pursued her passion for real estate. After meeting with Sam and his team, Sharon felt accepting a broker position with them was meant to be.
“I immediately felt a common understanding and appreciation for integrity, both personally and professionally, with the team,” said Nyberg. “Their intention to represent everyone’s best interests throughout a transaction is obvious, and I am honored to join the team."
Sharon and her husband Michael live on a farm in Tumalo just outside of Bend with their horses, dogs and cat. And Sharon gets to begin each day with a morning ride on her handsome horse Poe. Farm life agrees with Sharon and Michael, there is no place they would rather be.
